Romney WILL NOT Repeal Obamacare --Will Create Obamneycare For States

By Deborah Wright

Mitt Romney in the April 2010 video below discusses differences and similarities between ObamaCare and Romneycare.  Near the end he discusses how he would change a few things he does not like about Obamacare, but in no way does he say he would repeal Obamacare.

Romney likes socialized medicine and continues to defend the system he implemented in Massachusetts.  It has been documented that Romneycare does not reduce cost nor improve quality of service.

The differences Romney says concerns him between Obamacare and Romneycare are:
  1. Obamacare is a Federal Plan
    • What will stop Romney from requiring states to implement Romneycare or Obamacare to receive Medicaid reimbursements.
  2. Obamacare increases taxes
  3. Obamacare cuts in Medicare
  4. Obamacare has Price Controls
Romney wants to eliminate some of the differences repeal the bad and keep the good.  This does not sound like someone who will Repeal Obamacare.

The individual mandate that requires individuals to purchase healthcare was not mentioned as provision he wanted to change in Obamacare.  The individual mandate is also something Newt Gingrich supported until he began running for President.

Everyone who understands the loss of freedom that Obamacare represents, knows Obamacare must be repealed and rooted out of our healthcare system.  Listen to Romney and recognize the fight we are in for our freedom.

When the government controls your healthcare, the government controls your life.  The government will make life and death medical care decisions for you based on costs and bureaucratic rules.

Obamacare must be repealed.  Rick Santorum is the only Presidential candidate who we can trust to Repeal Obamacare.  He is dedicated to protecting and restoring our freedom. He has made a commitment to Repeal Obamacare. Do not waste your vote and this rare opportunity to elect a man of the people who shares our concerns.

Vote for Rick Santorum.

With Romney we get Obamneycare

Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi a Romney supporter, talked with Greta Van Susteren in January 2012 about Romneycare and her potential role in a Romney Administration, if he was elected President.

Greta asked AG Bondi how she reconciled Obamacare and the Massachusetts plan implement by Mitt Romney.  AG Bondi said the Massachusetts plan is completely different from Obamacare and listed the differences.

1.   Does not raise taxes

2.   Does not have Medicare diversions

3.   Does not create a Federal Bureaucracy

4.   Does not reduce choice

5.   Does not raise cost it lowers cost

1.   Raises taxes

2.   Has Medicare diversions

3.   Creates federal Bureaucracy

4.   Reduces choice

5.   Raises costs

AG Bondi says it is about states’ rights and Mitt wants get rid of the federal government takeover of healthcare.  As with Mitt Romney she has no problem with state government control of health care, because she considers it completely different.

AG Bondi told Greta Van Susteren she would be on Romney's Health Care Advisory Team.   She will be involved in undoing Obamacare and creating good healthcare.

AG Bondi believes Romneycare is good healthcare. We can look forward to Romney mandating states provide health care coverage to all of its residents as a condition of receiving Medicaid and Medicare payments.  After creating an untenable mandate on the states he will proudly announce states have a right use any method to achieve coverage mandates.  Notice there is never a mention of availability or access to care, because Obamneycare does not improve the quality and accessibility to care. Quality and accessibility of care are the primary interests of patient and their families.   Quality of care and the individual mandate are the primary reason people have opposed Obamacare, but neither Mitt Romney nor his surrogate AG Bondi listed those key concerns as problems with Obamacare and Romneycare.

When Romney forces his idea of good healthcare onto the states, it will be Obamacare with the few tweaks listed above.  If Mitt Romney is elected get ready for Obamneycare to be rolled out to all 50 states.
